We are seeking a seasoned communications professional to join as Senior Communications Manager, Japan, with a strong focus on B2B communications. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of external campaigns that strengthen Microsoft’s reputation and influence among business audiences. Blending creativity with strategic insight, you will develop narratives that position Microsoft as a trusted leader in AI and innovation.

A key part of this role is telling compelling stories about how Microsoft empowers customers to achieve their goals through the power of technology. You’ll have both the freedom and accountability to shape Microsoft’s voice in one of the most dynamic markets in the world. Reporting to the Head of Communications, Japan, and operating as part of the Global Communications Organization, this position partners closely with teams in the U.S., across Asia, and within Japan to ensure alignment and local relevance. You will drive excellence in PR, manage agency partners, and cultivate strong relationships with top-tier media and creators to elevate Microsoft’s presence in Japan’s business landscape.
