Job Description
The Supplier Enablement team is a new team in Finance Operations (FinOps), formed to transform how Microsoft manages and supports Indirect Procurement. This position is part of the FinOps Leadership Team and is responsible for partnering with Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions (MCAPS) leadership to manage balance-of-trade across the company’s top 100 suppliers, as well as engaging key compliance leaders that focus on supplier engagement with various governance programs, including Environment, Social, & Governance (ESG) and Supplier, Security, & Privacy Assurance (SSPA). Additionally, this position will partner with the three Procurement Solutions teams to provide end-to-end support of Microsoft Indirect Procurement, which purchases $25B annually across +22K suppliers.
The Senior Director, Procurement of Supplier Enablement will lead a team of Supplier Relationships Managers, Strategic Sourcing, and Responsible Procurement professionals. This role is a fantastic opportunity to influence Microsoft’s Procurement and Compliance programs, and drive change with business partners. This role is directly responsible for key procurement priorities to manage key supplier relationships that deliver services/products as well as revenue, reduce the number of suppliers, implement preferred supplier processes, drive +10% savings across all indirect procurement, be a part of delivering company priorities in sustainability and inclusion, and ensure all indirect suppliers adhere to the company’s policies of security, responsible AI, and privacy.
