Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform or similar public cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise scale Application Servers, RDBMS, NoSQL, Autoscaling, or Serverless frameworks.
  • Knowledge of programming in any of the following: Java, Python, Angular, JavaScript/Typescript scripting, developing extensions, workflow handlers, and REST/gRPC services.
  • Understanding of installation, configuration, and patching of application servers, event-driven systems, analytics components, data model updates, and integrations.

Description

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google\'s online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google\'s partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As a Technical Solution Consultant, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for design, develop and sustain Hardware Design, Manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI) and Supply chain enterprise grade application systems.

In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and are excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the solution design and implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain software including CAD, Part Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical integrations.
  • Develop applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources and managing cloud environments in accordance with standards and security guidelines.
  • Deploy and debug GCP cloud native solutions as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Design and develop application architectural patterns, system integrations with event-driven framework, etc.
  • Author and review technical documents, including design, development. Participate in collaborative design and code reviews.
