The Reward team is a dedicated, multidisciplinary team within the People Advisory Services department consisting of more than 50 remuneration experts, technology geeks and data wizards spread over 5 offices in Belgium. Within our team, we mostly focus on improving reward policies and practices. We support our clients on topics ranging from reduction of employment costs to the setup of compensation & benefits strategies. In addition, we continuously update and inform our clients on legislative changes and innovations.

We are looking for enthusiastic interns focusing on Data Science to join our office in Diegem.

Your key responsibilities

In today\'s rapidly evolving business landscape, the role of HR is shifting from a transactional function to a strategic partner integral to an organization\'s success. The traditional paradigms of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and operational efficiency are being redefined by the transformative powers of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies. A successful integration thereof will become an indispensable pillar of any HR strategy.

As such it will be your core mission as an intern within Data & Tech Reward to enable and accelerate data-driven insights for your reward colleagues in their support to our client’s business. Your main focus will be on Data Science where you will use your knowledge of mathematics, analytics, and AI/ML to turn data into tailored actionable insights for HR leaders

What we look for

• You say “challenge” instead of “problem”.
• You have an untamable curiosity about the new world of work to create new solutions considering different aspects.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French and have good mastery of English.
• You are a (preferably last year) Master student in STEM, Business Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics, Actuarial sciences, or any related field
• You have hands-on experience with R, Python, MATLAB. Practical experience with AI/ML is a big plus.
• You have a good understanding of mathematical and statistical methods, such as regression analysis, classification models, clustering etc.
• Experience in working with SQL, understanding relational databases, data warehousing techniques and ETL methods is a plus.
• You are open to team up (virtually) with specialists from abroad when developing solutions for clients and translate their needs/requirements into digital solutions.
• You are a team player but can also look for answers independently.
• Your school provides you with an internship agreement.
