Job Description

Are you eager to impact modern society’s progression? And are you looking to enhance your professional and personal skills within a knowledgeable and welcoming environment? Seize this exceptional chance to launch your career with our Valuation, Modelling & Economics (VME) team in EY, starting in August 2025.

The role and opportunities

As a Graduate in VME, you will be part of the wider Strategy and Transactions team, which is one of the leading advisors in the market. Our job is to lay the groundwork for strategic, commercial, investment and transaction-related decisions by combining an analytical financial competency set and an understanding of our customers’ needs.

Our overarching team (VME) is split into three sub-teams, each with a different area of focus. Currently, we have available positions in Valuation and Modelling.

In Valuation, we perform valuations of companies and individual assets that recognize the need for transparent and robust consulting to satisfy corporate, regulatory, and accounting requirements. We help clients within a broad range of sectors advance their strategic, financial and tax agendas through corporate finance, the use of analytics and economic analyses.

In Modelling, we work towards the green energy transition by enabling major Danish and international investment funds, institutional investors, and developers to make investment decisions within the renewable energy and power-to-x space. We are one of the leading energy corporate finance advisers in Denmark, running M&A mandates (buy and sell side) and debt financing processes, and combine this with our core competencies of developing complex financial excel models and detailed assessments and valuations of energy projects. Further, we provide various financial modelling services for large corporates across different sectors.

You will be surrounded by committed colleagues and provided with the diverse and inclusive culture you need to discover your full potential. Through our internal coaching and training programs, you will develop the skillsets you need to stay relevant today and in the future – all while building a network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will be on the journey with you at EY.

Your profile

  • You have experience within finance. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about financial modelling and/or valuation and who are meticulous.

  • You are curious and purpose driven. We are looking for individuals who are innovative, can work in an agile way and can keep pace with a rapidly changing world.

  • You are curious. We are looking for people who see opportunities instead of problems.

  • Qualifications:

    • You are planning to graduate in 2025 from a finance-focused master’s program.

    • You speak and write English fluently.

    • You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

What we offer

  • An exciting introductory program with all new graduates in the Nordic region.

  • A safe onboarding by your own personal buddy and counselor.

  • Flexible and hybrid-working conditions, so you can make a meaningful impact, your way.

  • Highly collaborative teams and great support of a network of knowledgeable colleagues.

  • Continuous development and opportunities to grow your own career.
