EY Consulting has several years of experience in providing donor-related services in 50+ countries where our Centre of Excellence team has travelled to deliver donor-related audit services to our clients. This makes this team one of the most mobile African based donor teams.

The opportunity: your next adventure awaits

Join our Donor team in our Business Consulting Service Line and you will help our clients identify risk areas, while building the agility to respond quickly. Our teams will leverage on the knowledge of donors’ rules and regulations and technology and integrate upside, downside and outside risks to drive strategic value, build and maintain trust in a rapidly changing risk landscape.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Donors’ risk and resilience
  • Financial audit
  • Systems audit
  • Compliance review
  • Performance review
  • Internal controls

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Helping prepare reports and other expected deliverable under supervision of Senior Team Members / Managers.
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Building strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Consulting Services and with other services across the organization
  • Other cognate duties

  • Qualifications:
  • BCom Accounting CA Stream, BCom Finance or equivalent or any STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
  • ACCA or ICAEW in progress
  • Any relevant experience will be an advantage.
