USA - SaT - Investment Banking - Intern - Summer 2025
About our business
EY’s Strategy and Transactions (SaT) professionals work with clients to create social and economic value by helping them make better, more informed decisions about strategically managing capital and transactions in fast-changing markets. Working in SaT is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to become a world-class business advisor to some of the largest and most prestigious companies in the world. You will gain technical expertise, access to a variety of industries, holistic views of clients’ issues and strategic objectives, as well as deep knowledge and firsthand experience with the range of value-creating solutions we provide. We believe that by helping companies manage their capital agenda and driving their competitive advantage, we’ll help them increase returns through improved decisions across all aspects of their capital agenda - and here you’ll be right at the heart of that mission.
What you will do
As an Investment Banking Intern with EY Capital Advisors (EYCA), EY’s team of Investment Banking advisors, you’ll join a close-knit team of professionals, working on live deals (e.g., mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, sale mandates, refinancings, acquisition financings, etc.). You will support deal teams working directly with clients ranging from corporate management teams to business owners beginning on day one. Working at EYCA provides you the opportunity to develop highly specialized investment banking skills and build a network of industry, private equity, law firm and banking contacts. If you’re looking for a hands-on role that will open up new opportunities based on your skills, interests and ambitions, this role is for you.
Whether it’s performing industry research, analyzing detailed financial statements, writing an offering memorandum, identifying potential investors or building complex valuation or leveraged finance models, you’ll use a diverse range of tools and techniques – so each day will present new challenges. As an Intern at EYCA, you’ll be given significant responsibility and attain the skills and experience to become a thoughtful, strategic advisor.
