What you will do
As an M&A Consulting Intern, you’ll use your unique insight to supply tailored advice to clients from all industries. Working on M&A transactions from pre-deal to post-deal, you’ll build an incredible base of experience that will set you apart for the rest of your career – all with the support of some of the top colleagues in the business. You will have the opportunity to be part of larger Transaction Diligence and Valuation Solutions teams that create and deliver broad, analytics-enabled solutions that align to our client’s focus on corporate finance, buy and integrate or sell and separate decisions.
Job requirements and preferences
Required qualifications
Have or be working toward, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a dual Finance-Accounting major.
A strong academic record, including, without limitation, course work that EY deems relevant to this position (GPA minimum of 3.2).
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Preferred qualifications
A genuine interest in financial strategy and an understanding of current M&A trends and issues.
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Superior project management, interpersonal, communication, teaming, organizational and technology skills.
A demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver\'s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
What we offer

The hourly pay range for this job, in the US, is $36.06 - $45.67. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
