We’ll look to you to engage with current topics, technologies and trends, identifying new and creative ways to share our message and deliver our services more effectively. It’s all about understanding our clients’ industries, challenges and needs so we can challenge current thinking to enhance treasury operations for existing and prospective clients. Making that happen is likely to include significant travel, usually within the US, visiting our clients personally on their own sites.

What you will do

As a Staff on the Global Treasury Services team, you will be responsible for assisting with the successful execution of Treasury engagements by applying hands-on practical skills and experience. You will take ownership for the delivery of high-quality work by supporting a broad range of Treasury projects. These projects may include a variety of Treasury and Finance related topics such as liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, risk management, Treasury technology, corporate transactions and organizational design. Additionally, you will maintain a strong client focus by being responsive to client requests and developing/maintaining productive working relationships with both the client as well as the EY engagement team.

Job requirements and preferences

  • Required qualifications

  • Have or be working toward, an undergraduate degree in finance or economics, along with the drive to achieve certified treasury professional (CTP) certification.

  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

  • A highly collaborative approach to work.

  • A passion for client focus and professionalism for managing sensitive client relationships.

  • The mental agility to absorb information and learn a diverse range of important skills right from the start.

  • Preferred qualifications

  • Experience and/or prior knowledge of Treasury related topics and processes (e.g., cash management, liquidity and forecasting, payments).

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and/or other Treasury and Finance related technologies.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Ability to analyze large sets of financial data and prepare reports and visualizations to key stakeholders.

  • Strong technical writing skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel on short notice.

We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The salary range for this job, in the US, is $78,500 - $92,000. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.

Our expectation is for most people to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
