What you will do
The Foundry is a New York-based team of entrepreneurs, product managers, operators and strategists who have a proven track record of turning ideas into successful new growth businesses. In April 2016, EY acquired this team out of Highnote Foundry, a venture capital and venture services firm, in order to build and launch new businesses for EY Americas Tax.
We\'re looking for versatile team members to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, which currently includes:
A web-based platform connecting clients with EY professionals for short-term assignments.
A digital overhaul of the EY Employee Financial Services practice.
Integration of TaxChat, an on-demand mobile tax preparation service.
As a member of our team, you may be involved in:
Conducting thorough research and financial analysis to evaluate new opportunities.
Crafting market and growth strategies based on research.
Developing financial projections and business models.
Designing and promoting digital products and services.
Creating user personas, stories, and conducting user research to guide product development.
Job requirements and preferences
Required qualifications
A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field; supported by a strong academic record.
Superior project management, interpersonal, communication, teaming and organizational skills.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Based in New York City or willing to relocate to the New York City area.
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Preferred qualifications
A graduate degree with a focus in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
An understanding of the agile framework.
Knowledge of SQL.
