What you will do
As an intern, you\'ll support essential project tasks, learn from experienced colleagues, and begin to build your expertise within your chosen domain. In supply chain, you will address complex issues and help protect our clients’ operations. By assessing our clients\' overarching strategy, we help redefine end-to-end supply chain and operations to support their enterprise objectives.
In this role you will:
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives
Participate in meetings, conduct interviews, and facilitate workshops to gather information
Be responsible for conducting research and analysis on specific topics, industries, or market trends to support the consulting team\'s recommendations and strategies
Prepare reports, presentations, proposals, and other documentation that communicates findings, recommendations, and plans to clients

The National Consulting practice serves clients across a variety of industries including, but not limited to: Consumer, Retail, Health, Life Sciences, Industrial Products, Mobility, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Private Equity, Media, Technology, and Telecommunications.
The Government and Public Sector (GPS) serves federal clients, as well as state and local agencies and higher education institutions.
Job Requirements and Preferences
Required Qualifications
Have or be working toward an undergrad or master\'s degree with a strong foundation in supply chain management, supply chain engineering, industrial engineering, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer science, management information systems
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and develop appropriate solutions under guidance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a flexible approach in various project settings.
Flexibility and readiness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary (Ways of Working)
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrates a capacity to innovate and adapt in a dynamic business environment, continuously seeking improvement.
Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Aptitude, interest, and/or experience in Java, Javascript, .Net, Python, C, C++, PHP, web development, analytics focused tools and platforms such as SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, business process design, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as SAP or Oracle, or integration tools.
Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Exhibits a strong desire to learn and a purpose-driven approach to transform challenges into opportunities and drive impactful change.
Utilizes structured thinking to effectively analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems.
Employs collaborative skills and a keen interest in technology to positively impact both global and domestic business operations.

Access to reliable transportation for commuting to EY office and client sites, with a driver\'s license preferred (Ways of Working)

The salary range for this job, in the US, is $35.63- $40.19 per hour. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
