Location Overview:

Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London’s greenest boroughs. Here you’ll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.

Role Description:

We are looking for an operations consultant on Position Control team based in Bromley. Team works as part of a Global Team within Payment Operations, with some of the team members working in India office. This role offers opportunity to interact with various business partners, build control reports, and learn other functions such as position review.

Responsibilities:

  • The team are responsible for performing reconciliations of currency positions across 32 currencies on 10 branches; to ensure anomalies are identified and rectified to avoid exposure to the Bank owing to FX & Money transactions.
  • You will liaise with Traders and Internal Business Partners including Global Money Desk, Investigations, Loans and Finance.
  • You will input adjustments to Traders Positions where applicable.
  • You will identify, Investigate, escalate, and manage breaks through to resolution.
  • You will provide oversight for the team ensuring teams workload is sufficiently allocated.
  • You will assist with end of day QA/Controls where required.
  • You will assist with creation of monthly reporting decks and capacity management tools.
  • You will provide support across projects and OpEx initiatives.

  • You will have knowledge of the GBS system.
  • You will be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • You will have understanding or experience in reconciliations processes.
  • You will have effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will have a Team player attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment.
  • You will be able to prioritize, use your own initiative and be flexible.
  • You will have attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • You will be able to work as part of a team both onshore and offshore.
